Nike Kyrie One Performance Review
Firstly , I am very sure the basketball community who have been following Kyrie Irving is very much pleased with the fact he finally got his own signature shoe. But that isn't enough to say his shoe is one of the best on the market. For the most part , its decent for a first signature and ''maybe'' for that price point. Now lets begin.
Fit in my opinion, I feel this shoe is made more for a player who's plays the guard position. Bigger guys would want more cushioning on their feet compared to these. I wore this the first day I got them and the 2 finger-overlay that you see in front was mad stiff! Its not like a breaking-in feeling. I played for 3 hours in total on the first day and when I got back , my inner arch was sore as heck. It didn't even go away the next day as I continued to play ball in these and its still stiff. After the 6th time, I realize the 2-finger area wasn't that stiff. Its just nice like its already molded to my feet. Most people think they need to go a half size up but I don't think that would work once the shoes breaks in because the shoe will feel a bit too roomy and I hate that feeling. I love it when there's almost zero gap . Personal preference here.

Support is up to par in this pair. The angular heel counter provides stability just as the mid-top wraps around your ankle giving you a plush feel . In other words, its decent but also similar to what you have been experiencing in the past hyperfuse models.
Cushion I will say don't expect much from this pair. Not that its uncomfortable but its just enough. Maybe its because after wearing other signatures players models for so long, I feel like this is just an ''okay'' shoe. The shoe is running on a regular phylon which is implemented in past hyperfuse models so for those who have experienced them, that's what you will be getting with these.
Ventilation is poor with this pair and let me say this, I only wear normal thin no-show socks to play but it doesn't improve the condition. The overall material is made of mesh but its backed up with another layer to improve the fit which destroys the purpose of using mesh isn't it? So I will say that the usage of mesh here doesn't live up to its purpose. Personally I don't think ventilation is a concern but if its already placed there, why not utilize it? Smh.
Aesthetically I think these are okay on court. I don't think they are exactly a looker off-court. Not in this colorway though. Perhaps other colorways like the Dreams, or the recently released Flytraps (2nd image).
If you are interested in getting a pair, there will be more colorways coming to your nearest Nike outlets or you can pay a visit to Hoops Station to grab a pair.

Score Sheet will be as follows :
Traction - 10/10
Fit - 7/10
Cushion - 7/10
Support - 7/10
To The Naked Eye - Well of course its a must have for those who have been supporting Kyrie ever since he got into the league. But performance wise, don't expect too much from it.
