Not much differences but performance wise I think the playoff editions might fare a bit better as it looks like they have reduced some layers to enhance breathability. Also the playoff editions might take lesser breaking-in time since the shoe's exterior is overlaid with mesh. No date on these but it won't be long before these hit retailers.
